This morning when I got to my office around 7:55, I was surprised to find a homemade sandwich on my desk. It was waiting for me there along with a note.
A student made breakfast for me! A busy high school senior! He made one for his homeroom teacher too. His homeroom teacher told me he made the sandwiches at 4:00am this morning. Touched and grateful, I immediately went downstairs to the school snack bar to buy a carton of milk for him.
Tsai-yi (林才羨), a student in Class 310, not only cares for others, but takes good care of his studies. He ranked 2nd on the 2nd mock exam.
Thanks, Tsai-yi, for making my day more beautiful with a heartwarming sandwich.
