A Powerful Sentence from TIME

The latest issue of TIME features the world's 100 most influential people.  None from Taiwan is on the list.  Well, I'm not quite sure about the criteria.

Today I mentioned in class a sentence I read this morning before leaving home:

"In a place that has been described as "the city that care forgot," It is a fact that Brad Pitt never forgot to care."

This sentence appears at the end of  the story about Brad Pitt, written by Carville and Matalin, both of whom are political strategists.  Brad Pitt is one of the most influential, nominated as a philanthropist under the category of "Builders & Titans."   He lent a helping hand to people in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina struck the city by starting the Make It Right Foundation, "which is building hundreds of affordable and sustainable homes" in parts of the city.

By rearranging the words "care" (noun/verb) and "forgot," the writers made the sentence very powerful and easy to remember.

It's easy for me to be touched by words, even if they seem simple.
