學測滿級分 曹維綱繁星上陽明醫學系

雲林縣偏鄉學生曹維綱學測滿級分，申請繁星計畫，錄取陽明醫學系。

曹維綱就讀雲林縣永年中學，大學學測雖考滿級分，但因今年全國滿級分人數爆增，曹維綱為能穩上國立醫學院，以滿級分參加繁星計畫，果然摘星成功，錄取第一志願陽明醫學系。

家住雲林縣麥寮鄉的曹維剛，父親從事養殖業。平日有空幫父親養殖魚蝦的他，因讀書主動，從小成績一直很好，考完大學學測，雖獲得滿級分，但卻沒有把握穩上台大醫學系。

曹維綱說，他有親戚在陽明醫學院教書，經過考量後，決定參加繁星計畫爭取陽明醫學系的兩個名額。學測後，曹維綱常跟著媽媽到麥寮長庚醫院當志工，在診察室協助老人填轉診表單或幫忙量血壓；曹維綱說，家鄉醫療不便，且貧弱又多，發願以後當上醫生，將幫助更多偏鄉老弱。

愛看小說的曹維綱透露，想讀好書，態度很重要，很多人考完試就算了，但他會想盡辦法把錯的題目弄懂，千萬別想著還有還多書沒讀完，而應滿足於自己已讀完的部分，這樣讀起書來，就會更有信心。

My comments: A colleague told me the other day that she had her students translate two sentences into English on a pop quiz. These two items were exactly the translation items on the 1st mock exam they took on February 17. Surprisingly, only two students got them completely right. When I was a student, I took every mistake as a learning opportunity. I redid exercises twice, always getting the feeling that I was making progress when finding I made fewer mistakes.
