Yesterday morning I drove four old colleagues and friends to Yangmingshan. According to Mei-chen, Yangmingshan is the coolest place in Taipei in summer. At the restaurant, we came across an old colleague who is also retired. She went there with her reading club members.
I stole some shots while they basked in dancing to their feet.
When leaving the restaurant, Mei-chen challenged us to name the flower.
It is the flower of the passion fruit! Wow! I never knew it! How little I know about the world!
Then we went to Da Tun Waterfall. It is said the negative ion near a waterfall does human health good. An elderly lady who was dancing with nature in front of the waterfall told us that by coming to the fall five days a week, she doesn't need to go to hospital. She said she was happy to overhear us praise the beauty of the place instead of, as quite a few others do, criticizing the small size of the fall.
