Discussion after Ali's Teaching

After Ali's teaching, we had a discussion in Teachers' Association Office.

The following are comments made by the attendees:

Prof. Chen (陳秋蘭教授), Mr. Wu (吳正東校長), Ms. Lee (李淑媛老師), Melody (陳美麗老師), Ali (葛淑瑄), and me:

1. Today's teaching is a combination of both meaning and form.

2. Using the movie clip as a warm-up activity arouses students' interest in the discussion of cultural difference, and hence the lesson.

3. Applying PowerPoint helps students get a clear idea about the word "manger."

4. Ali is good at cuing students to answer questions and making sentences.

5. Having students exposed to abundant spoken English helps create an English environment.

6. The overview at the end of the class ensures that students did learn something.

7. The interaction is very good. Amazing students!
