Lying
Have you ever told a lie? It seems that lying is an inevitable thing in our life. It’s not a comfortable feeling to have to tell a lie, since you may feel nervous, uneasy, and even guilty. We might tell lies for various reasons. We lie to our parents to avoid being scolded, and lie to others sometimes for our own benefit. We may tell lies for good purposes as well. Afraid of hurting others’ feelings, we tell lies rather than reveal the cruel truth.
Telling lies is easy. However, little are we aware that one lie may lead to another ten lies and influence our life badly. So next time, when you intend to tell a lie, think twice about whether it is really necessary. After all, people still like to live in a world of truths. (138 words) (314 劉宜慈)
