The Last Lecture--a Fantastic Book

I finished reading Randy Pausch's The Last Lecture this morning. A fantastic book. Rich in life lessons. With the book closed, the following is what I remember I've learned from the book.

1. Fundamentals! Fundamentals! Fundamentals!

2. If we screw up and no one bothers to tell us, then they give up on us. Criticism from others is not that bad.

3. Go all out for what you are supposed to do well.

4. Show gratitude to those who make your life smoother and better. Handwritten thank-you notes mean more.

5. Be over-prepared.

6. Ask questions. You might benefit from it in an unexpected way.

7. The brick wall is there for some reason. It is there to separate those who really want something from those who don't.

Hmm, it seems that I need to go back to the book. There are so many inspiring stories and life lessons in the book that it's worth reviewing over and over again.
