15 Habits of Happiness--from CommonWealth Magazine

In the latest issue (#414) of CommonWealth Magazine (天下雜誌) is an article entitled 15 Habits of Happiness. The article is based on a new book with the same title written by a 98-year-old Japanese doctor. The main idea of the book is that man is made by his habits. It introduces 15 habits of happiness as follows, which is briefly discussed in the magazine article.

1. Always have love in your heart.

2. Hold the positive belief that everything will get better.

3. Take on new challenges.

4. Develop your ability to focus.

5. Learn from your role model.

6. Empathize with others.

7. Cherish whoever and whatever you have.

8. Stop eating before you are 80% full.

9. Don't be too concerned about eating right.

10. Walk whenever you can.

11. Enjoy exercising with more people.

12. Find more interests.

13. Cope with stress.

14. Take the responsibility on yourself.

15. Don't be subjected to habits blindly and irrationally. Be flexible.
