Congratulations, Ken!

This morning, Ken (王慶剛) called and told me he's got admitted to the Graduate Institute of Journalism at NTU. Knowing how hard-working he'd always been, I was happy but not surprised.

For Ken, this is a dream come true. Around four years ago, when he got an early admission to the Department of Journalism at National Cheng Chi University, he set his mind on going to the Graduate Institute of Journalism at NTU after four years. At that time, I already knew he would.

At NCCU, he did have a good four years, not only studying hard but also actively participating in related activities to gain hands-on experience. In April this year, he was selected to represent Taiwan for a Cross-Strait Talk at Berkley, the U.S. With a strong love of English, in his sophomore year, he added English as his second major, and now he's in his fifth year, going to graduating next summer and moving on to graduate school.

Ken told me today that he was over-prepared for the screening interview. Another testimony of Dr. Pausch's "being over-prepared" theory.

Bravo, Ken!

P.S. The following are some entries in my blog where you can find nice advice from him for those who are preparing for the entrance exam:
