Homemade Gifts for Students

I used to make bookmarks for students as gifts. The above one, with the text of General MacArthur's Prayer for His Son, was given in the hope that the words might help students face challenges in life head on.



This one was created when I taught the lesson "Dying for Beauty." I happened to read Audrey Hepburn's words in her biography and would like to share them with my students.

    

   

These four, with some useful English-learning websites on the back, was made and given to the students I taught in the year before I retired. Quotations in the cards were different.
