Do you know the name of the flowers? I didn't before I paid a visit to the flower market in Neihu this morning with an old colleague and friend Mei-chen (朱美珍老師).
It's called pagoda flower. According to the florist, it is from South Africa. My heart leapt up when I beheld the pagoda flowers. They are strangely beautiful! John Keats is definitely right by saying, "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." The exhilaration I got from the beautiful encounter made my day!
