This afternoon, Annie and I gathered together for women's talk. Also, we celebrated her birthday. In fact, her birthday was on January 14; however, she had a meeting at school that afternoon.
Annie is always a conscientious junior high school teacher. Well, I would rather say she is a great educator, always striving to give her students the best. She urged her scchool to hold various activities to spark students' interest in English, with the help from her colleagues, which she always shows sincere gratitude for, for instance, Daily English Phrases, Vocabulary Competition, Dialogue Contest, Dictionary Competition, etc. In addition, she organized the reading club for teachers in school and several English-teaching workshops. Her team and she herself have won several awards.
Annie is not only an enthusiastic teacher, but also a wonderful friend. She enjoys sharing good stuff with her friends, including precious information. An avid reader, she often introduces to me good books and the content of those books. She even gives friends delicious food, some of which she cooks.
Happy birthday, Annie! And thank you for being my friend.
