I was surprised to find "Ten Commandments for Bloggers" in the United Daily News today. Then I found the English version on the Internet.

Here is the report in today's United Daily News:

The following is what I copied and pasted from the website in case it disappeared one day.
Ten Commandments for Bloggers
The Telegraph reports on Ten Commandments for bloggers - suggested by the Evangelical Alliance.
1 You shall not put your blog before your integrity
2 You shall not make an idol of your blog
3 You shall not misuse your screen name by using your anonymity to sin
4 Remember the Sabbath day by taking one day off a week from your blog
5 Honour your fellow-bloggers above yourselves and do not give undue significance to their mistakes
6 You shall not murder someone else’s honour, reputation or feelings
7 You shall not use the web to commit or permit adultery in your mind
8 You shall not steal another person’s content
9 You shall not give false testimony against your fellow-blogger
10 You shall not covet your neighbour’s blog ranking. Be content with your own content
And here is the Chinese version I found in the United Daily News:
(Click on the chart, and you can see the enlarged version.)
Interestingly, I found I broke one of the ten, "Remember the Sabbath day by taking one day off a week from your blog." I have never taken a day off from my blog since I started keeping it. There were times when my old blog service system crashed. To be persistent, I turned to a new one. Even when I couldn't get connected to the Internet, I kept writing on Word and later pasted it on my blog. Now, I have to decide whether to follow the Ten Commandments.
