To Ben

Dear Ben,

I know how you felt when you saw the composition score on the UEE. In fact, the last few compositions you wrote before the UEE were very good. Not only were they rich in content but they were alos well-organized. You always remembered to put a topic sentence at the beginning of a paragraph.

Then why did you only get a 10 on the UEE? Well, think back on what you wrote. Did you follow the instructions? Since I can't read your composition, it's hard for me to make any comments. As you know, you composition were graded by 2 teachers and the grade you got was the average of the points given by them. Only when the discrepancy was 6 points or more will your composition be graded by the third teacher, who decided what score you got.

Don't lose your passion for English, Ben. Instead, why not pick some interesting English novels or inspiring books to read? You always want to be superior to your previous self, don't you? Now here comes the real test.
