Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year. Wish everyone beautiful years ahead.
To celebrate the Chinese New Year, many families put up a couplet on the front of their home, usually by the gate. The couplet always bears good meaning or wishes, just like the one above, which I saw in my neighborhood this morning, of which the right sentence says, "Be kind every day, and you'll be greeted with good luck," and the left one reads, "Stay happy all the time, and you'll be blessed with peace."
