英文╱留意時事詞彙 多練寫作

學測考前最後衝刺，松山高中英文老師許亞君提醒考生，在英文科與英文作文方面，建議把5冊課本的單字、片語，再完整複習一次，還要持續練習近5年模擬考與考古題，以熟悉題型。

許亞君表示，考前每天還是要閱讀英文文章，藉此培養「英文語感」，程度好或第一類組學生，每天讀4到5則，自然科或一般程度生一天約3則。

至於英文作文，她表示，考前最後幾天仍要持續練習，建議可在有限時間內，把模擬考、考古題的作文題目，拿出來自我練習，以掌握考時情境。

許亞君表示，英文作文的寫作架構要把握「有頭有尾」、「留1到2分鐘確認拼字與動詞時態正確性」兩大原則。這幾年英文作文的出題趨勢，是以四格漫畫，讓考生依內容看圖說故事，建議考生要把握「時間、地點、內容」的基本描述。

結局部分，許亞君說，由於近年考題最後一格都是留白，讓考生自由發揮，她建議，考生可以依照想像力與創意來發揮，甚至題對自己的啟發等，但切記內容勿天馬行空，要符合邏輯原則，更不要硬拗。

許亞君提醒，寫作文時，動詞時態與拼字可能會有筆誤，建議要預留1到2分鐘來確認。許亞君表示，作文的故事描述大都採用過去式，但在結語部分要依照上下文來決定，考生最後要再確認。

My comments: Make sure all the agreements are correct, including the agreement between the subject and the verb, that of the verb tense, and that between the verb and the object complement.

補教老師齊斌也提醒考生，考前最後階段，更要留意與時事相關的詞彙，包括經濟類的global economic downturn（全球經濟衰退）、government bonds（政府債券）、stock market（股票市場）、IMF, International Monetary Fund（國際貨幣基金組織）、an unpaid leave（無薪假）。

My comments: Even if you don't know these words when you see them on the test, don't panic. Guess or just skip them.

科技類的Technology firm Apple（蘋果公司）、Steve Jobs died at 56（賈伯斯56歲逝世）；電影賽德克‧巴萊Warriors of the Rainbow也是重點，the Wushe incident（霧社事件）、aborigine（原住民）等，考前都要熟記。
