An Essay by a Student

Remember the picture of a writing task in which a man is standing by his car in the middle of nowhere?  (See http://june.ettachou.com/2011/12/17/follow-the-instructions/#more-4980)  A student in Class 311 saw the picture from a different persepctive and composed the following essay.

Unable to bear the agony of losing his wife, John drove on the highway and hoped that the road could lead him to a place which could help him sense a little bit of peace. He drove absentmindedly. It had been three months since his wife passed away, but he was unable to pull himself out of the sorrow. Finally, he pulled over at barren place. With nobody in sight, he sat calmly in the car, letting the breeze comb through his hair.

With tons of memories which were composed by his endearing wife Eva nd him, he felt pain on deciding whether to lot go or to stay in the same mood. Eventually, he got out of the car and stood still by it. He shouted his words hysterically into the air with tears rolling down his cheeks. All of a sudden, a wave of wind swept over and brought his words and tears away. He knelt down to the ground with relief. A beam of sunlight caressed his face, as his wife used to. He then knew that his wife had got his message and he was set free from his bereavement. (195 words)
