I didn't know that family should gather together for dinner this evening until I read the following information in Wikipedia just now.
"Eighth day
Another family dinner to celebrate the eve of the birth of the Jade Emperor. However, everybody should be back to work by the 8th day. All of [the]government agencies and business will stop celebrating by the eighth day."
