一分鐘say NO 面試四大禁忌

今天是6月畢業季的第一天,據統計,目前求職市場中仍有約60萬名待業者搶飯碗,有哪些「地雷」是求職者該注意的?1111人力銀行最新調查指出,企業主最忌諱看到應徵者「履歷不實」、「面試遲到」、「對應徵職務一無所知」,若犯下這些錯誤,極可能面試1分鐘內就遭淘汰。

勞委會最新統計指出,現階段每位求職者平均可分到1.38個職缺,創下近3年新高,如何成為雇主眼中的千里馬,第一步就是不要觸犯面試求職禁忌。

1111人力銀行最新調查指出,面試官最想在1分鐘內say no的禁忌行為,46.11%是「履歷不實/提供假證照、文件」,其次為「面試遲到」(41.32%)、「對應徵職務一無所知」(38.92%)。

My comments: As the old saying goes, "Honesty is the best policy." A dishonest man can never be trusted. "Tell the truth, all the time," emphasized by Dr. Randy Pausch in The Last Lecture, deserves to be taken as a maxim.

Punctuality and being familiar with the target job are good indicators of how responsible a person one is.

值得一提的是,「大肆批評前公司/競業」也同樣令雇主厭惡,高達33.53%會將此種求職者列為拒絕往來戶。

My comments: The other day, I told my students not to speak ill of others behind their backs because it is unfair since the person attacked is not present and so has no chance to make any justification if there is any.

明錦診所經理陳雯麗以過來人的經驗說,徵才過程中,最大的困擾正是求職者面試爽約,公司約過面試的應徵者中,高達50%無故不到,且完全沒有告知。

另外,她也遇過求職者為了爭取工作,主動「爆料」過去在競業公司工作時發現的不法情事,以搏得認同,卻不知道對於企業主來說,批評前公司也是求職禁忌。

此外,在面試中「詢問他人隱私」、「企業機密」及「加班費」,是最令企業主反感的問題

除了面試的表現,履歷、自傳也是一門學問。1111人力銀發指出,近8成在意求職者「履歷不附自傳」,亦有5成3則不能接受「履歷無照片」。

有趣的是,針對企業較在意的面試地雷反問上班族,近12%受訪上班族表示,面試時曾犯「未化妝」的錯誤,以女性為主;近11%坦承曾經、「服裝穿錯」、「沒帶履歷」,也有10%「對應徵職務一無所知」的情況下就赴約。

My comments: Last week, I had the students read an article from The Last Lecture about being over-prepared.  Being over-prepared is always better than being underprepared.
