An Interesting Letter Written by a Student

The following is a letter written by a student. The writing task requires students to write a letter to someone in the past or in a story.

Dear Big Wolf,

Once upon a time, you ate both the Little Red Riding Hood and her grandma, and got killed by the hunter. In another story, you blew down the two houses of the pig brothers and fell into the hot water boiled the youngest pig. Then in still another tale, you got into the houe of the seven little sheep and ate all of them. But once again, you got punished. The mother sheep put a lot of rocks into your stomach and drowned you.

What happy endings! What tragic stories! You are the symbol of evil, the maker of the darkness. You played the scary roles and have since been the enemy of good people. Children hate you and are glad to read about your death. However, you were simply driven by hunger to do all those bad things. How poor you are, Big Wolf! After being killed by so many people, I wish you not to be a wolf again in your next life. I do understadn your sorrow and wish to do something for you. Maybe I could write a story for you and, this time, have the little Red Riding Hood play the evil role.

Truly yours,

Jack
