Weeks ago, I started to organize a lunch gathering to welcome four newly retired NHSH English teachers since January last year. It was not easy to find a time when all the four former colleagues are available. The LINE app helped a lot. We finally agreed on the time: this noon. Then I sent out invitations via LINE or text message. Eight came.
Since we are not teaching now, our topic didn't revolve around education, but rather life, health, and children. Four left earlier, and the rest of us chatted until around 5:30pm.
