Place: Pinglin of New Taipei City
Today I went to Pinglin with Mei-yin (袁梅英), Li-chu (陳麗珠), Shu-yuan (李淑媛), and Mei-chen (朱美珍). Our tour guide was Mei-chen. It was an entertaining and also educational trip.
After 35 minutes' drive from Neihu, we arrived at Pinglin. Our first stop was Pinglin Tea Museum (http://www.tea.ntpc.gov.tw/). A very interesting place! There I learned a lot about tea.

The museum is now holding a special exhibitiion on English tea culture. Very elegant.

I was very surprised to find the English are such tea lovers! They could have eight rounds of tea time in a day!

The museum was so charming that we didn't leave until after 1pm for our lunch. We had our lunch at Shih-fang Tea House.

Shu-yuan gave us a surprise. She made a s fruit snack for us. Very tasty.

After lunch, we had tea at Vanilla Cafe near the tea house.

After the tea, it was time for outdoor journey. Mei-chen guided us to Daiyujue River Path (逮魚崛溪步道).
