Gathering with Mengyin, a Student I Taught Around 30 Years Ago

Time: 12pm, Nov. 26, 2015

Place: Moon River

This noon, I had lunch with Mengyin (胡夢茵), a student in my homeroom class at Chiehshow Junior High School from Fall 1983-Spring 1985. I still remember the quiet girl standing by my desk, and now she is a mother of two!

We chatted about everything, from her health and her family to life in general. Unlike the shy girl 30 years ago, Mengyin participated actively in our conversation today. We were more like friends than teacher and student. It felt so good!
