If I Were an English Teacher--Part II

Here are responses on "If I Were an English Teacher" from Class 301:

1. Have everyone read aloud what they or someone else writes.

3. Introduce more new words. Not give many assignments. Have students read English magazines or news.

4. Tell students the importance of English. After all, only when one has the motivation to learn can they learn well. For the sake of efficiency, be well-prepared for each class.

6. Focus on the textbooks. Less is more.

7. Guide students to write well. A sense of humor is a must.

9. Share stories with students in English.

10. Let students have fun.

11. Teach students how to learn English efficiently.

12. Teach whatever I know.

13. Arouse students' interest. Make them love English.

14. Guide students to experience the fun of learning English.

15. Help students expand their vocabulary.

16. Motivate students by getting them to know the importance of English. English is an important tool in life.

17. Make students study every day, but with only a little pressure.

18. Make class interesting.

19. Communicate with students in English. Create an English environment.

20. Teach all the four skills instead of just focusing on reading and writing.

21. Do a lot of exercises.

22. Teach students ways to memorize vocabulary easily.
