Three former students paid me a visit today: Yi-wen, Chia-ling, and Chun-chieh. They graduated 9 years ago and are pursuing their dreams in different fields now. One is working in an automotive parts & accessories company, another is studying in graduate school at NTNU, and the other teaching in an elementary school. Nine years ago, they worked hard together, studying the same textbooks, taking the same tests, with the same goal: go to their ideal colleges. Nine years later, they still worked hard, but things they are doing are totally different. This reminds me of Enya's song "Only Time":
Who can say where the road goes,
Where the day flows? Only time.
Yes. Who can say where the students go, in which garden they bloom? Only time.
