Another Happy Gathering with Tze-huang

Remember the man in the photo? He's a former student who is going all out for his dream and whose story I related on last year's August 18 entry. http://june.ettachou.com/2013/08/18/

After about a year, we had a gathering again today. During our chat, what impressed me most was his talk about what makes a good doctor, based on his observation during his internship in the past year. According to him, a good doctor

1. is sincere

2. has expertise in his field

3. is willing to do more for his patients or others.

I believe Tze-huang will be a good doctor because these are what he cares about.

And I take all the three above as the qualities of  every good teacher. The only difference is that teachers face students.
