Advice from Tsan-ju

This afternoon, Tsan-ju (楊粲如) and I had a chat. She already finished the interview with the department of design at a normal university. She said she would like to come back to school after she enters college to talk to students at NTNU. She would tell the frshmen that her personal experience taught her a lesson: it is worthwhile to study hard from the very beginning of senior high school so that they won't regret when they are applying for the department and school they really want to study in.

She also learned that one should not choose to study in a social science class just because he/she does not do well in math in the first year. For example, she wants to major in industrial design, but since she chose to major in social science in the 2nd and 3rd year, she didn't have a chance to study physics and chemestry, two subjects which are tested on UEE, and thus missed the chance to enter the department of industrial design.

Finally, she advised those who are going for an interview be dressed in brighter color so that they will appear in higher spirits. For the interview she had last week, she was wearing a red blouse.
