What are the students doing?

Yesterday, to relieve my students of the pressure from many daily quizzes due to the coming 1st mid-term, I taught them the song "The Rose," a good song to review the relative clause, one of the two sentence patterns in Unit 4.  In Class 109, for some change, I challenged the students by asking them to stand up when they heard/saw/sang a relative clause in the song and remain standing until the end of the relative clause. The students in the photos were looking at the ppt of the song while they were singing.

In fact, this activity wasn't in my teaching plan. It struck me when they asked to sing the song for the second time. It was fun.
